Sorry for the long time away. This summer has been pretty crazy busy for my hubby and I.

Hope you all are enjoying every minute of summer! It's wild to me that we only have 2 more weeks left of July. I wish our winters went this fast and our summers dragged on instead! :) Although I am super stoked for the month of August! One, is the big 30th birthday of mine, our annual trip to torch lake, and our trip to Boston with my parents!! :)

Casual GLAM

Happy fricken Wednesday night thank goodness! We are that much closer to the weekend :)

What girl doesn't love the weekends right?! I look forward to laziness, cocktails, adventures, coffee and breakfast in bed, The Today Show, golf date night with the hubs, boating, catching some zzzzz's, catching up on Vitamin D :)....well you get my drift, I could go on forever! I am a weekend kind of girl!

I wanted to share with you ladies a super fun, casual outfit that I put together for a girl wanting to look casual glam for a night out.

 

Not sure about you all, but I am LOVING accessorizing lately.
Everything from my statement jewelry, to my hat, down to my toes. Especially when I just throw together a simple graphic T-shirt and jeans. I love dressing it up with accessories.

Lately, I cannot seem to have or wear enough hats. You can pry tell by my posts lately. It also helps to cover up my need for a serious root touch-up like 2 weeks ago and always covers up a bad hair day.

This graphic T-shirt I am sporting this week is a riot. It is pretty much my anthem!! This shirt is super flattering and let me tell you, COMFY! And, I think it's super adorbs wearing it off the shoulder :)

And I thought, why not pair this T with my wardrobe staple, the skinny jean!

Comfy Style

Hope you all had a great Monday to start the week off.

This weekend was a busy one, but good! I had family and friends over for the store open house.
It was a great turn out with lots of great food and cocktails!! Thank you all for stopping by and shopping :))

Food, cocktails, & shopping is like heaven to me so I hope you all had a great time!

 

Before you know it, it was already Sunday and the weekend had flown by. I decided to get some stuff done around the house Sunday while my hubby did homework. It was so nice out yesterday that it was a crime to stay inside all day. We both looked at each other and said lets get the heck outta this house and go do something. We naturally decided on a deck and cocktails and ended up at the Bostwick Lake Inn. I highly recommend the Dragon Fly Mojito! Pure deliciousness.

 

When my hubby and I decide to do things on the fly, I still like to look somewhat put together. So my go to outfit is usually my graphic T, some sort of distressed denim, my favorite summer panama hat, a cute wedge, mascara and a glossy lip!

Style Inspiration

Tonight, I am touching on how to help you get inspiration for your next look.

 

It's as simple as opening up a style magazine.

Be it InStyle, People Style Watch, or Bazaar. 

Of course I like to see what the latest celeb styles are and the latest spot on trends. But for me, gaining style inspiration is finding a great page full of bright color or a fabulous pattern and throwing a statement jewelry piece on the page to see if it fits the look.

 

Fashion is all about taking risks. Matching is old school. So take a risk, venture out of your comfort zone, and MAKE A STATEMENT with your next look.

 

Here are a few of my favorite looks I came up for ya'll tonight.

 

Turquoise is my favorite color for this summer!

Your pry thinking I'm crazy, but yes I have a favorite color seasonally :))

 It's such a beautiful soothing color that reminds me of vacation and sunshiny sandy beaches. 

Canary yellow and mustard are such beautiful hues that scream beauty and class.

Pair a gorgeous yellow sundress with this beautiful Turquoise Tide Necklace, a red lip, and a great pair of nude heels.

 

 

 

With this next inspired look, it's all about the color PINK! Of course I love pink, I am a girl!

But when it comes to pink, I like to play it up in small doses.

With this look I would pair a great black pencil skirt, a fabulous nude wedge sandal, a great lace nude blouse and this amazing Watermelon Sangria Necklace. Don't forget your fierce pink lip ladies! It will add the finishing touch to this gorgeous look.

 

 

 

Emerald green is a fabulous color that all women look great in. It brightens up any skin tone and flatters blondes and brunettes and is a redheads must have color!!
